Prior experience includes a tenure as Operations Manager at C&D Electric, Inc. from July 2005 to October 2018. Corey Gonyea holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills, completed in June 2023, and a Bachelor of Applied Studies in Public Administration from the same institution in 2021. Additional educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Applied Horticulture from Orange Coast College, an Associate of Science in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from Long Beach City College, and two Associate of Science degrees in Public Works Management and Public Works Construction Inspection from Santiago Canyon College.
