City Council Member at City of Moab

Kaitlin Myers is an experienced professional in affordable housing and economic development, currently serving as a City Council Member for the City of Moab since January 2024 and as the Executive Director of the Moab Area Community Land Trust since January 2022. Previously, Kaitlin held the position of Senior Project Manager for the City of Moab, where significant contributions included managing a $15M affordable housing development and launching a COVID-19 Housing Relief Fund that distributed over $34,000 in rent relief. As a Community and Economic Development Specialist for Grand County, Kaitlin implemented policies resulting in over 300 deed-restricted housing units and increased economic development grants by 250%. Kaitlin's earlier roles included creating vital community development resources while serving with AmeriCorps VISTA and supervising at Classic Fare Catering. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Florida, a Certificate in Economic Development from Utah Valley University, and ongoing studies towards a Master's degree in Real Estate at Georgetown University.
