Carmen Vargas

Carmen Vargas has extensive experience in human resources and administrative roles, currently serving as an Employee Relations Officer for the City of Modesto since December 2012, where responsibilities include planning and implementing employee relations operations within the Human Resources Department, as well as managing issues related to discipline, grievances, and performance management. Prior to this role, Carmen served as an Office Supervisor in the same department, and worked as a Legal Secretary at The Hartford, supporting attorneys in Workers' Compensation. Additional experience includes positions as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Novelics Corporation, and as an Office Administrator at Bridge To Success Group Home. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Human Development from Logos Christian College & Graduate School, earned between 1998 and 2001.
