Jacques Doucet has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Jacques began their career in 2009 as the Team Lead for Government Financial Services at Medavie Blue Cross. In this role, they oversaw accounting, budgeting, financial management, and procurement for government contracts. Jacques held this position until 2014 when they joined the City of Moncton as a Financial Management and Budget Specialist. Jacques quickly advanced to the role of Chief Financial Officer in November 2018.
Jacques Doucet received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the Université de Moncton from 2001 to 2006. Jacques also obtained a CGA CPA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) between 2008 and 2011.
