Ryan Henderson is a seasoned journeyman lineman with extensive experience in the electrical utility industry. Currently employed by the City of Monroe, NC since April 2018, Ryan previously served as a lineman at Kissimmee Utility Authority from June 2013 to April 2018. Ryan's career began in the US Navy, where significant responsibilities as a Petty Officer Second Class were undertaken at both Port Ops Kings Bay Subase and aboard the USS Nimitz from July 2004 to November 2012. Ryan's educational background includes a degree in Electrical Lineman Journeyman from Electric Cities of Georgia, completed between 2012 and 2018, as well as training from the Southeast Lineman Training Center in 2012.

Monroe provides excellent recreational options for residents of all ages. There are parks, various recreational facilities, ball fields, tennis courts, Monroe Aquatics and Fitness Center , Monroe Country Club and Ellen Fitzgerald Senior Center. The city even has future plans to include a greenway to connect all of the city's parks. With a boast of amenities such as these, it is no wonder Monroe is an up-and-coming city. Yet, despite all its progressive growth and energy, Monroe still maintains the charm of a true southern town.
