Erica Childs

Erica Childs is a dedicated library professional with extensive experience in customer service, programming, and collection development across multiple library settings. Currently serving as a Library Assistant for the City of Pasadena since December 2020, Erica provides curbside services, assists with reference questions, and creates STEM craft projects. With a background as a Library Clerk for the City of Monrovia, responsibilities included clerical duties, patron assistance, event planning, and marketing material creation. Earlier roles included Library Page at Burbank Public Library, Office Assistant at Locktix Visual Effects, and various positions in event coordination and administrative support. Erica holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
