John Mayer, AICP, currently serves as Principal Planner for the City of Monrovia since July 2018, previously holding the position of Senior Planner. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Planner for the City of West Hollywood and Senior Planner and Associate Planner for the City of South Pasadena. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Planner for the City of Artesia and as a Professional Planning Intern and Economic Development Intern in earlier roles. John Mayer holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
