Sophia Sousa currently serves as a Management Analyst for the City of Monrovia since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sophia worked as a Management Aide at the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments from August 2021 to April 2023 and held an internship at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission from June 2019 to June 2022. Sophia's experience also includes a position as a Planning Team Member at Cal Transportation from August 2018 to June 2022 and as an Associate at In-N-Out Burger from October 2015 to December 2020. Additionally, Sophia worked as a Barista at Yalis Coffee from December 2017 to December 2019. Sophia holds a Master’s of Urban Planning from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley, obtained in 2021.
