Robert Ezekiel has extensive work experience in the fire service. Robert started their career in 1973 with the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, where they held various roles in fire administration for 20 years. In 1993, they became the Fire Chief for the City of Mountain Brook, Alabama, a position they still hold.
Robert Ezekiel earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Jefferson State Community College. Robert then went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in Public Safety Administration at Athens State University in 1992. In 1995, Robert obtained a Masters degree in Public Private Management (MPPM) from Birmingham-Southern College.
