Javier Carcamo, MBA has a strong background in finance and accounting with extensive experience in various government organizations. Javier started their career as an Accountant in the County of San Bernardino in 2001, where they monitored redevelopment agencies' reporting requirements and provided financial analysis and auditing services. Javier then worked as a Lead Accountant for the Arizona State Retirement System from 2005 to 2006. Javier then joined the City of Avondale as an Accounting Supervisor in 2006, where they managed team and financial functions. In 2012, they became a Sr. Accountant at the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Javier joined the City of National City in 2014 as a Financial Services Officer/Finance Manager, responsible for managing the finance department and implementing accounting systems and internal controls. Javier then served as the Finance Manager for the City of Poway from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance at the City of Murrieta, where they oversee the financial operations and strategies. Javier’s diverse experience and strong leadership skills make him a valuable asset in the finance field.

Javier Carcamo, MBA completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree from Chaffey College from 1998 to 2000. Javier then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Business Administration and Accounting from the California State University-San Bernardino - College of Business and Public Administration between 2001 and 2005. Later, they attended the University of Redlands from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance, General.
