Michael Walker

Michael Walker is an ACE Certified group fitness instructor currently employed at HealthQuest since October 2023. With extensive experience in urban planning, Michael has served as the Senior Planner and Advanced Planning Section Leader for the City of Napa since January 2015, where responsibilities include the Napa: 2040 General Plan Update, municipal code administration, and compliance with planning laws. Prior to this, Michael held key roles as Interim Planning Manager and Senior Planner for the City of Frisco from August 2001 to December 2014, managing significant development projects like FC Dallas Stadium and various master-planned communities. Earlier career positions include Senior Planner and Planner for the Town of Flower Mound and Planning Technician for the City of Chesterfield. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning with a focus on Urban Design from Iowa State University and completed a Leadership program in North Texas from 2011 to 2012.
