Eric Volk is a seasoned public works professional with extensive experience in managing municipal operations. Currently serving as the Public Works Superintendent for the City of New Brighton since March 2019, Eric oversees the maintenance and operation of essential infrastructure, including water and sewer systems. Prior roles include Water Superintendent at Elk River Municipal Utilities, where Eric directed water department operations, and Lead Water Operator with the United States Air Force, managing vehicle operations. Eric's career began as a Public Service Worker for the City of Blaine, and includes military service as a Combat Engineer in the US Army. Academically, Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Metro State University, an Associate of Science from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, and a Public Works Certificate from North Hennepin Community College.
