Janet Vivian, CPPB, NIGP-CPP, CPCP, is an experienced purchasing professional currently serving as the Purchasing Agent and Purchasing Card Administrator for the City of New Smyrna Beach since December 2020. In this role, Janet manages day-to-day operations within the Purchasing Division, oversees the competitive bid process, and provides customer service while managing city financial functions. Previous positions include Purchasing Manager for the City of Oviedo, where Janet ensured compliance with procurement policies, and Procurement Operations Manager at Valencia College, supervising procurement activities. Janet's early career includes roles at the Washington State School for the Blind and Disney Cruise Line/Walt Disney World, where significant contributions to sourcing and cost management were achieved. Janet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UCF, along with two associate degrees from Valencia College.
