Lisa Pelzel

Lisa Pelzel has extensive experience in administrative and support roles, currently serving as Executive Assistant at the City of New Ulm/New Ulm Public Utilities since August 1994, after a role as Clerical Assistant. Prior to this, Lisa worked as a Receptionist at Christensen Farms for a brief period in 1994 and held various positions, including Manufacturing Support, Quality Assurance Secretary, and Order Entry Assistant at Sanborn Manufacturing Company from August 1984 to March 1994. Lisa completed a Word Processing Specialization Program at Mankato Area Vocational-Technical Institute, which included a Medical Secretary Specialization, and also attended Hennepin Technical College in 1983.

New Ulm is a progressive town, with agriculture, industries, retail stores, progressive parochial and public schools, including a private college, and a population of nearly 14,000 people. The City of New Ulm, in County of Brown, and State of Minnesota is a municipal corporation operating under the Home Rule Charter. The City Administration offices include the City Manager's office and the Office of the Mayor. The Mayor, as the Chief Executive officer for the City of New Ulm, conducts official mayoral business from City Hall. The daily affairs of the City of New Ulm and New Ulm Public Utilities Commission are administered through the office of the City Manager. The New Ulm Public Utilities provides electric, water, district energy, natural gas, and wastewater service to residents and businesses in the New Ulm area. It is our continuing endeavor to serve the public as a nonprofit organization providing our customers with high quality, safe and efficient services at the lowest possible cost, while promoting conservation and responsible management of resources.
