Ashleigh Young has over 15 years of experience in communications, currently serving as the Manager of Communications for the City of New Westminster since 2008. In this role, Ashleigh provides strategic direction for both internal and external communication initiatives, effectively utilizing digital and traditional media to engage residents, businesses, and staff. Prior to this position, Ashleigh held roles as a Communications Officer at the City of New Westminster and as a Communication Coordinator at the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and UBC Okanagan. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from Simon Fraser University and ongoing studies at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
