George Otieno

George Otieno, P.Eng., PMP, serves as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Acting Manager of Infrastructure Planning at the City of New Westminster since November 2010, overseeing the Utilities & Development Services Sections. Previous roles include Project Manager for significant plans such as the Queensborough Master Drainage Plan and the Citywide Integrated Stormwater Management Plan. Prior experience includes work as a Staff Engineer at CH2M HILL, where responsibilities involved water and wastewater treatment systems, and engineering assistance positions at the City of Richmond and Associated Engineering, focusing on capital works planning, design review, and field inspections. George Otieno holds a BASc in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia and certifications from the Green Building Certification Institute and Project Management Institute, both obtained in 2017.
