Michael Leong is a seasoned transportation planning engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving at the City of New Westminster since May 2021, Michael previously held the position of transit design engineer at the City of Vancouver from May 2017 to May 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a transportation analyst at Bunt & Associates Engineering Ltd from November 2012 to May 2017, an engineering assistant at the City of Surrey in early 2011, and various positions as a transportation planning assistant at SNC-Lavalin in 2009 and 2010. Michael Leong holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2007 and 2012.
