Norm Connolly

Norm Connolly is a seasoned professional in community energy management and urban planning, currently serving as the Community Energy Manager for the City of New Westminster since April 2012. This role focuses on enhancing energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions through innovative strategies and policy development. Previous experience includes consulting on sustainable development issues across several countries, directing the Community Energy Association to support local governments in British Columbia, and managing planning initiatives at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Norm holds a Master's degree in Environmental Design, a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development, and has a background in Community Economic Development and Management Information Systems.
