Patrick Shannon

Patrick Shannon is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Board President for NISCL BC and previously held the position of Board Vice President. At the City of New Westminster, Patrick has worked as Purchasing Manager since September 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Strategic Sourcing Contracts Lead at BC Hydro and Purchasing Manager for Strategic Sourcing IT at WorkSafeBC, where expertise in managing IT procurement amid rapid advancements in technology was developed. Additionally, Patrick served as Purchasing Team Lead at Ballard Power Systems, focusing on procurement strategies for stationary power systems. Patrick holds a Certificate in Computer Electronics from Vancouver Community College, earned between 1985 and 1987.
