Nick Cuevas

Nick Cuevas, MPA, has extensive experience in recreation and community services, starting in various roles with the City of Newark, California, since April 2013, where responsibilities have included Recreation & Community Services Director and prior positions such as Recreation Supervisor and Aquatic Coordinator. Prior to Newark, Nick held the position of Recreation Coordinator/Pool Manager at the City of Piedmont and Aquatics Manager at the City of Irvine. Additional experience includes serving as an Instructor in Ontario and Head Swim Coach for Moreno Valley Unified School District, alongside managing a pool at Loma Linda University. Academically, Nick holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Organizational Management from the University of Arizona, a Bachelor's Degree in eMarketing and Business Administration from Ashford University, and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Riverside City College.
