Ben Bowers Mpa, Cfi-II, Iaai-Fit

Ben Bowers is an accomplished Fire Marshal with extensive experience in fire safety and emergency management. Currently serving as the Fire Marshal for both the City of Newberry and Laurens County Fire Service, Ben also holds the position of Recruitment and Retention Captain for the Newberry Fire Department, where responsibilities include overseeing part-time and volunteer firefighters. Ben's career includes various roles such as Assistant Fire Marshal at the University of South Carolina, where compliance with fire codes was a key focus, and previous positions as a Senior Engineer, Fire Engineer, and Firefighter. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Emergency Management and Planning from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Organizational Management from Newberry College. Ben is also recognized as a Certified Fire Inspector II and holds the IAAI Fire Investigator Technician certification.
