Afroz Khan is an experienced professional with a strong background in energy efficiency and program evaluation. Currently serving as an Evaluation Consultant at Consolidated Edison since February 2021, Afroz manages evaluation studies for residential and commercial sectors while providing technical guidance on the New York Technical Reference Manual. Additionally, Afroz has been serving as a City Councilor At Large in Newburyport since January 2018, having been re-elected in November 2020. Prior roles include Senior Consultant for Energy Efficiency at The Forward Curve LLC, Technical Director at Rouleau Consulting Group, Senior Program Manager at the Consortium for Energy Efficiency, and various consultancy roles at Global Energy Partners, Reliable Power Meters, and Electrotek Concepts. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
