Jillian Chin

Jillian Chin is a Preservation Planner at the City of Newport, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Jillian served as an Architectural Historian and Social Media Coordinator at the Public Archaeology Lab from November 2019 to December 2022. Jillian's earlier experience includes working as a Business Development Representative at Nordson EFD, a Preservation Intern at the Providence Preservation Society, and an Associate Guide at The Preservation Society of Newport County. Jillian holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural and Historic Preservation from Salve Regina University, earned in 2017.
