Jacob Thomas

Jacob Thomas is a seasoned professional in economic policy and decision support, currently serving as Senior Manager of Decision Support at the City of Niagara Falls since June 2024. Prior roles include Senior Advisor at CIRO/OCRI, where Jacob focused on investor research and outreach initiatives, and Senior Research & Reporting Analyst at the Ontario Securities Commission, leading enforcement activity reporting and process improvements. Prior experience also includes roles as Senior Policy Advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Finance, where Jacob contributed to pension policy analysis, and Economist at the Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat, providing fiscal policy support. Jacob holds a Master of Arts in Economic Policy from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brock University.
