Matt Light

Matt Light currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Noblesville, a position held since January 2020. Concurrently, Matt is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, teaching D/N 781, Representing the Government. Previous experience includes serving as Chief of Staff for the State Board of Accounts and Chief Operating Officer at the Indiana Attorney General's Office, where roles also included Chief Deputy, Chief Counsel for the Advisory Division, and Legislative Consultant. Matt's career began with significant legal and policy roles at the Indiana Attorney General's Office, including responsibilities in legislative liaison and consumer protection. Prior to these positions, Matt was a Program Development Manager at Total Golf Adventures and an Associate Attorney at Park Legal LLC, focusing on data privacy and security. Matt received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a second concentration in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
