Chip Finch

Chip Finch is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, strategy, and technology management. Currently serving as Operations and Strategy Manager for the City of Norfolk since 2005, Chip Finch previously held the position of Technology Manager for Network and Telecommunications. Prior roles include IT Program Manager at NGIT and Functional CIO for the Submarine Division at Newport News Shipbuilding. Following a distinguished career in the US Navy, where Chip Finch retired as a Senior Naval Officer after serving from 1980 to 1999, various commands afloat and ashore were undertaken, including a last shore assignment on the staff of the Commander in Chief, U.S. Education includes a Master of Science in Finance from the Naval Postgraduate School, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Auburn University and attendance at the U.S. Naval War College.
