Oliver Love Jr

Oliver Love Jr is a seasoned professional in public works and project management, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Public Works for the City of Norfolk, VA, since January 1997. With extensive experience overseeing complex mechanical systems, particularly in Fire-Rescue Facilities, Oliver has held various leadership roles including Building Systems Bureau Head, Senior Project Manager, and Building Systems Engineer. Previous positions include Operations Manager and Project Engineer at the National Maritime Center Authority, and Project Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding. Oliver holds a BS in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and a certificate in Leading Educating and Developing from the University of Virginia.
