Benjamin Young, MPA, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Administration for the City of North Canton since May 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the operations of thirteen departments, implementing initiatives, optimizing workflows, and driving process improvements. Previously, Benjamin held various roles including Public Policy Analyst, Director of Legislative Affairs/Clerk of Council, and Secretary of the Civil Service Commission. Additional experience includes a policy internship at the North Canton Community Improvement Corporation and a crime analyst internship at the Canton Police Department. Benjamin holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on State and Local Government from Ohio University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Walsh University, alongside a high school diploma from Bishop Ready High School.
