Ian Fors

Ian Fors, MPA, CPRP serves as the Parks and Recreation Deputy Director for the City of North Miami Beach since November 2023, overseeing comprehensive park planning initiatives, capital improvements, and strategic projects. Previously, Ian held the position of Recreation Coordinator for the Town of Davie from December 2020 to November 2023, managing the Fitness and Aquatic Division, and before that, served as the Park and Recreation Division Assistant Manager for the City of Aventura from January 2019 to December 2020. Ian's extensive experience includes roles such as Recreation Program Supervisor at the City of Miami Beach and Aquatic Coordinator for Miami Children's Health System. Ian began the career as a Water Safety Instructor for the City of Miramar, Florida, from May 2008 to April 2014. Ian holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sport Management from Florida International University.
