City of Norton
The current City of Norton was originally a part of Wolf Creek Township along with Copley, Wadsworth, Sharon, Guilford, and Montville townships. Norton became a village in 1961 and a City in 1969. Norton got it's name from it's original land owner Birdseye Norton. The residential city is home to 11,591 citizens, spanning 21 miles, and having an extensive number of lakes, including the Barberton Reservoir, Lake Dorothy, and Silver Creek Lake. Giving it's residents beautiful nature views.
