Julie Nester

Julie Nester serves as the City Clerk for the City of Oak Harbor, WA, since May 2020. Previously, Julie held the position of Executive Assistant at the Port of Anacortes from September 1999 to April 2020, where responsibilities included supporting the Executive Director and the elected Commission, managing public records, and coordinating communications and event planning. Julie's earlier experience includes working as a Paraoptometric Technician at Island Optometry Clinic from October 1982 to September 1999. Julie Nester holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in English and Dramatic Art from Whitman College and has received certification as an optician and as a nationally certified contact lens examiner.
