Salam Alnimri Habhab is an experienced Economic Development and Planning Specialist currently working for the City of Oak Park since August 2021. Previously, Salam served as a Township Planner for DeWitt Charter Township and worked as a Planning Intern at Beckett & Raeder, Inc., where responsibilities included preparing Site Plan Review reports and verifying zoning classifications. Salam's background also includes internships in GIS technology and freelance interior architecture design, as well as project management roles with Global Art W.L.L. and the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in Qatar. Salam holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Engineering from The University of Jordan.
