Sara Quinnell

Sara Quinnell is a seasoned communications specialist with extensive experience in athletic communications and event management. Currently serving as the Communications Specialist for the City of Oakdale, Minnesota, since July 2022, Sara previously held roles including Assistant Commissioner for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and Sports Information Director at St. Catherine University, where responsibilities included maintaining statistics, developing content for various platforms, and overseeing student assistants. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Co-Chair for the Minnesota Coalition for Women in Athletic Leadership and various positions in college athletics and media. Sara holds a Master's degree in Applied Kinesiology with a focus on Sports Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Publishing, Public Relations, and Sports Business from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
