Andrea Mariano serves as the Training and Organizational Development Manager for the City of Oakland since May 2015, focusing on enhancing workforce development and employee engagement in a diverse urban environment. In conjunction with this role, Andrea also instructs courses on racial equity, bias, diversity, and inclusion at the University of California, Davis. Prior experience includes a position with the Merced County Human Services Agency, where Andrea gained expertise in training facilitation, curriculum development, and community relations. Andrea's early career includes significant management experience at Starbucks, encompassing operational management, staff training, and public relations. Andrea holds two Bachelor's Degrees in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Communication from San Francisco State University.
