Arvinder Bhalla

Arvinder Bhalla has a diverse background in software development and project management. Arvinder worked at ESRI as a Software Programmer from 2001 to 2005, where they coded and developed the ArcIMS Spatial server tier. Arvinder also performed spatial analysis and supported ArcIMS developers. From 2005 to 2007, Bhalla was a Software Developer at Hansen Information Technologies, implementing code for the Hansen GIS product MapDrawer. At Telvent Farradyne, Bhalla served as a Senior Programmer from 2007 to 2008, leading GIS software development for the Bay Area 511 Transit system and designing modular mapping and web applications. Currently, Bhalla is the Business Applications Lead at the City of Oakland, where they plan, manages, and executes application development projects, collaborating with stakeholders to gather project requirements and translating client needs into technical specifications and solutions.

Arvinder Bhalla attended Gulbarga University from 1994 to 1998 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
