Jenny Wong

Jenny Wong currently serves as an Urban Economic Analyst III for the City of Oakland, a position held since September 2025. Prior experience includes Program Manager at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center from January 2019 to August 2025, where responsibilities encompassed business development, grant management, and partnerships. As a Program Coordinator at the same organization, Jenny developed outreach strategies to enhance program visibility and collaborated with the Digital Equity Initiative to provide WiFi access to residents during the pandemic. Previous roles at The San Francisco Food Bank included Senior Program Associate, where a pilot program was launched to monitor participation across food pantries, and Calfresh Program Associate, focusing on building community partnerships and promoting the program. Early career experience involved program coordination and outreach efforts at the Portola Neighborhood Steering Committee and the Excelsior Action Group. Educationally, Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development in China from the University of Redlands, earned in 2007.
