Libni Lopez, LMFT-S, currently serves as a City Council Member for the City of Oberlin, Ohio, from January 2024 to the present and has been a Bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist at Authentically You Therapy, LLC since February 2022. Previously, Lopez held roles at Oberlin College as a Bilingual Staff Therapist and Program Coordinator for Undocumented Student Initiatives, focusing on advocacy and support for undocumented students from August 2017 to May 2023. Prior experience includes positions as a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the San Diego LGBT Community Center and a Bilingual Mental Health Clinician at San Diego Youth Services. Early experience encompasses roles as a Youth Mentor and Interpreter and a Program Coordinator/Presenter at the Teen Relationship Violence Prevention Lab, among others. Lopez holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from San Diego State University.
