Dan Gentry

Dan Gentry has worked in various positions throughout their career. Dan started in 1986 as a Hansard Scholars Intern at the London Borough of Islington while studying at Birkbeck College, University of London. In 1991, they interned with the City Manager's Office at the City of Shawnee, KS during their studies at the University of Kansas. From 1992 to 1993, they worked as a Management Intern/Assistant for the City of Topeka. Dan then moved to the Shawnee County Health Agency in 1993 where they served as a Planner/Grants Manager until 1996. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager for the City of Ferguson, Missouri from 1996 to 2002. Finally, they joined the City of O'Fallon, Illinois in 2002 and held various roles, including Public Works Operations Manager, Public Works MIS Manager, and Director of Information Technology. Their tenure at the City of O'Fallon is ongoing.
