Melissa McKee

Melissa McKee is currently serving as the Assistant to the Olympia City Council since October 2025. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Reentry Simulation Specialist at the Washington State Department of Corrections for a brief period in September 2025. From September 2022 to May 2025, Melissa held the position of Senior Policy Analyst in the Behavioral Health Division at the CSG Justice Center. Additionally, Melissa has experience as an Outreach Specialist with the Olympia Police Department. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy from The Evergreen State College, achieved in June 2024, a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington completed in June 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts degree obtained from The Evergreen State College in December 2020.
