Andrew Brown is an experienced professional in community development and economic management, currently serving as the Inclusive Communities Project Officer with the City of Onkaparinga since October 2021. Previously, Andrew held several roles with Maitland City Council, including Coordinator City Economy and City Economy Officer, from October 2015 to July 2020. Andrew's extensive experience in economic development and tourism includes positions such as Manager Economic Development and Tourism and Manager Tourism and Marketing at Narrandera Shire Council from November 2009 to September 2015. Early career roles include Manager Marketing and Communications at RSPCA SA and Manager Marketing and Tourism at Zoos South Australia. Andrew's educational background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Business in Tourism Management from TAFE SA, and a Bachelor of Technology in Ecotourism from Flinders University.
