Julia Grant has a diverse work experience in various roles related to strategy, climate change, and sustainability. Julia worked at the City of Onkaparinga as the Director of Strategy and Engagement starting from September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Group Executive Director of the Climate Change Group at the Department for Environment & Water. Julia also held the position of Executive Director in both the Department for Water and the Department of Environment and Water. During their time at EY, they worked as an Executive Director, specializing in climate and sustainability assurance and advisory services in South Australia. In 2018, they served as the Executive Director of Green Adelaide, where they played a crucial role in establishing the new entity to drive the development of Adelaide as a green and climate resilient city.
Julia Grant has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of South Australia. Julia attended St Ignatius College from 1984 to 1985 and obtained a Matriculation degree. Julia also holds a Bachelors Degree in Politics and History from the University of Adelaide.
