Jim Schiller

Fire Battalion Chief at City of Ontario

Jim Schiller began their work experience in 1983 as a Combat Medic/Senior Aidman in the United States Army. After serving in the army, they joined the Los Angeles City Fire Department in 1989 as a Firefighter III/Lead Paramedic. In 1993, Jim became a Firefighter/Paramedic at the City of Ontario Fire Department. Jim then worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Chaffey Community College/Santa Ana Community College starting in 2007. In 1999, Jim became a Fire Captain at the City of Ontario, and later in 2010, they were promoted to Fire Battalion Chief. Additionally, they have been involved with Hoops for Hope since 2009.

Jim Schiller attended Montclair High School from 1976 to 1980, where they studied General Studies and obtained a High School diploma. Afterward, from 2003 to 2004, they attended Victor Valley College and completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Fire Science/Firefighting.
