Charles Crosby serves as a Board Member at Harbor House of Central Florida since July 2023 and has an extensive career with the Orlando Police Department, where duties include Property Section Commander for the Criminal Investigations Division and various leadership roles, including Watch Commander and Crisis Negotiation Team Training Coordinator. With experience supervising units focused on special victims and community policing, Charles has played a pivotal role in training new officers and developing crisis communication skills through Communication Cynergy, LLC, which emphasizes research-based de-escalation techniques. Additionally, Charles contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor in Criminology at Stetson University and an Adjunct Instructor at Valencia College. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, and Charles is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University.
