City Planner 1 at City of Painesville

Celina Sotka currently serves as City Planner 1 for the City of Painesville since July 2023, following a role as Planner/Assistant Zoning Inspector for Concord Township from October 2022 to July 2023. Key responsibilities have included reviewing site plans for compliance with zoning regulations and preparing staff reports for variance requests. Prior to this, Celina worked as a Project Scientist at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), where the focus was on environmental analyses related to development projects. Settled in 1800, Painesville is the county seat of Lake County, Ohio and is located along the beautiful Grand River, roughly 30 miles northeast of Cleveland.
