Jasmine Sullivan-Waits Cprp

Jasmine Sullivan-Waits, CPRP, has extensive experience in event management and recreation programming, currently serving as the Manager for the City of Palm Springs since December 2005. In this role, Jasmine chairs the Palm Springs Special Events Planning Team and the Valley Wide Events Planning Team, overseeing all city special events and recreational activities. Jasmine is responsible for the selection, training, and supervision of division employees, as well as the development and maintenance of a city volunteer program with over 200 active volunteers. Jasmine has successfully established a citywide sponsorship program generating over $150,000 annually and manages budgeting and marketing for recreation activities. Jasmine's background includes roles as Special Events Coordinator, Program Coordinator in Recreation, and VillageFest Coordinator, along with previous experience at Harrah's Hotel & Casino in Kansas City. Jasmine holds a Master of Public Administration in Organizational Leadership and has degrees in Recreation & Special Events Management and Liberal Arts from California State University-San Bernardino and College of the Desert, respectively.
