Jennifer Henning currently serves as a Board of Director for the Basin Transit Authority, where involvement includes membership in the Marketing Committee and the Transportation Assistance Grant (TAG) Committee. Additionally, Jennifer holds the position of Vice Chair for Category 2, Dispersed Recreation Interests on the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) California Desert District Advisory Council. With a long-standing role as the Public Arts and Special Projects Coordinator for the City of Palm Springs since 2006, Jennifer previously worked as the Education + Artist Council Coordinator at the Palm Springs Art Museum from 2004 to 2006. Jennifer's academic background includes two Master's degrees from the University of Southern California, one in Urban Planning with a concentration in Economic Development and the other in Public Art Studies/Administration.
