Larry Klingaman has over two decades of work experience in the field of information technology. Larry began their career in 1996 as the Owner of The Kelaman Group, where they provided IT services. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as the IT Director at Ace Direct. In 2009, they joined the City of El Segundo as the Information Systems Manager (CIO) and held this role until 2015. Larry then served as the Senior Director of Infrastructure Services at California State University, Dominguez Hills for a year. From 2017 to 2022, Klingaman worked as the IT Manager (CIO) at the City of Yorba Linda. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Technology at the City of Palm Springs.
Larry Klingaman has a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills. Larry also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same institution. In addition, Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Governors University.
Larry Klingaman has obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2015.
