Valerie Wagner has extensive experience in municipal maintenance and traffic management, currently serving as the Streets & Traffic Maintenance Superintendent for the City of Palm Springs since October 2006. In this role, responsibilities include the maintenance, inspection, repair, and construction of city streets, as well as overseeing graffiti abatement, street sweeping, and road closures. Valerie has also contributed to the City of Cathedral City as a member of the Finance Advisory Committee, focusing on revenue enhancement strategies. Prior positions include Equipment Operator II with County of Riverside Transportation, Engineering Technician II with City of Palm Desert, and Traffic Maintenance Lead Worker with City of Palm Springs, along with serving as Streets and Transportation Commissioner in Cathedral City. Valerie Wagner holds a degree from Texas Christian University.
