Joe Smith, CPRE, has extensive experience in parks and recreation management, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Palos Heights since June 2012. In this role, Joe has also held positions such as Superintendent of Facilities and Program Supervisor. Prior to this, Joe worked as the Athletic Supervisor for the Worth Park District from November 2007 to May 2012. Joe holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Administration from Indiana State University (2014-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from Eastern Illinois University (2003-2007), following completion of education at Marist High School (1999-2003).
