Mark Stursma

Mark Stursma currently serves as the Deputy City Administrator for the City of Papillion, a position held since April 2023. Stursma has been actively involved with the Active Living Advisory Committee since 2015, serving as Chairperson. Prior to the current role, Stursma was the Planning Director for the City of Papillion from June 2004 to May 2022 and held city planner positions at The Schemmer Associates, RDG Planning & Design, and Snyder & Associates, Inc. Mark Stursma holds a Master of Science in Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Creighton University School of Law, obtained between 2014 and 2018, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community & Regional Planning from Iowa State University, earned from 1990 to 1993. Mark Stursma also attended Calvin University in 1989-1990.
